My name is Helen Brady and I am a UKCP Accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.  I provide individual counselling and therapy in a safe confidential space.

 

I work with adults and young people over the age of 15 and offer both short term and long-term work.  I believe the key element to successful therapy is an enabling and trusting relationship in which you feel safe to talk. I will endeavour to listen to your difficulties in a non-judgemental way and allow you the time and space for you to talk and explore your way of being.

    

To support you to do this I draw upon different theories/types of psychotherapeutic counselling to find what best suits you, including working creatively and outdoors.

I'm based in Market Weighton, the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds and within easy reach from York, Hull and the surrounding areas.

I charge between £40 and £60 an hour depending on individual circumstances.  The low cost appointments (£40)are limited for counsellors in training and/or people who are receiving benefits, please feel free to ask.
